As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 1,384 people and 533 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 2,326/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 99.0% White, 0% African American, 1% Native American, 0% Asian, 0% from other races, and 0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were about 3% of the population.
There were 533 households out of which 36% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70% were married couples living together, 7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 4% were non-families. 18% of all households were made up of individuals.
